A Regional Effort
GiveLocalNow spans Yolo, El Dorado, Placer, and Sacramento counties. With nonprofit partners and support from businesses and individuals in all four areas, we believe that this regional effort will better the lives on all in our area.

Each of us has a unique motivation for giving, GiveLocalNow is collecting and displaying the giving stories shared by members of our community so that we can inspire each other. If we all give a little more, our community will flourish.

A few weeks before Thanksgiving I told my 2 kids that I would give each of them money to donate to a local charity of their choice, but it could not be to an organization that they benefited from directly. They needed to choose something they cared about. So on Give Local Tuesday, we used this website to help them make the decision.
